Chihiro Honda

Chihiro Honda

Chihiro Honda is an artist based in Kyoto, Japan.
Following spinal surgery in her teens, she has lived with metal inside her body—a physical condition that informs her ongoing use of iron as both material and conceptual tool.
She works across sound sculpture, installation, performance, and printed matter,
grounded in improvisation and play as central methods.
She began her artistic practice in 2020 after a decade in graphic design.
