This site-specific sculptural installation consists of 111 polished iron pyramids, along with glass and photographic works that fill the exhibition space. The number 111 is drawn from Michael Ende’s The Prison of Freedom, where it represents the number of doors.

Each iron sculpture is hollow, formed by welding together sheets of iron. They resemble houses, or skin-covered bodies—human, animal—or even cells. Because they emit sound when they collide, each object requires distance from others to remain silent. In contrast to the static installation, the performance involved intentionally striking the objects together to produce sound. The gaps between elements shift depending on the site, making the work inherently variable.
